  1. June was such a delightful friend, we laughed our asses off too many times to count. The only good thing I know for sure is she is with her son Johnny, whom she always grieved for. She loved Charlie, but not like her son Johnny. I will always love June Harris Hillman.

  2. June , I met you through working at Carpenters. I loved your character and spirit! You helped me through many spots and gave me good advice! You are someone I will never forget! It is time for you to start a new journey! You will be awesome at it! Say hello to your son, Johnny…You guys will have so much fun! You have some catching up to do!

  3. Wonderful woman. So kind and giving. She will be missed. Rest In Peace June. Phyllis Grubb Carpenter Realtors

  4. He Only Takes the Best God saw that June was getting tired, A cure was not to be. So He put His arms around her and whispered, ‘Come with Me.’ With tearful eyes, we watched her suffer, And saw her fade away. Although we loved her dearly, We could not make her stay. A golden heart stopped beating, Hard working hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes ‘the best’. I have shared many happy memories with June and I will miss her advice and wit

  5. I use to go to Set & Style and June did my hair and I got into Hairstyling. She was so kind and a joy to talk to you. Then I went to work at Citizens Bank and got to see June there. I was so glad to get to see her again and talk with her. I missed her these past few months. I send prayers out to friends and family that knew her. We are all blessed to have crossed paths with June.

  6. I picked the color of pink, for a pretty lady! I met June several years ago, I chose her to sell a home for me. We hit it off instantly and became good Friends. In my mind, she is still telling me that I should get into real estate. She told me that I can show a house better than she could. She always had a smile and was quick with a joke! She loved her life, She loved Charlie, and She loved her Family, Not to mention, her Family of Friends! June was one of a kind, and she surely will be missed! (I love you June! ) Shirley Reed Cox, aka, Shirl Cox

  7. Larry and I were best friends with June’s son, Johnny and daughter in-law, Karen. We take comfort in knowing that June is with her baby boy and Karen once again. RIP June

  9. My mom worked for June @ Set n Style for several years & they became very best friends. Then mom convinced June she should become a Real Estate Agent. Which was definately June’s expertise! My parents & June & Charlie shared many happy times together. My parents truly miss Charlie & now will truly miss June, but they will all be together again someday. Thoughts & prayers to Buddy, Steve, and all of their families. God bless. Jeanie Perry Overton

  10. Although a lot of years have passed, I always have considered June, Charlie, Johnny, Buddy and Steve as family. Many wonderful childhood memories sweeping the beauty shop and parking lot for soda money, playing ball or just hanging out at the house and bait shop. I always felt welcome. I love you all.
