  18. I would look forward to Kaitlyn’s daily visit to our hallway. Everyday, she would beg to be a TA, and I would not give into her mainly because it drove her crazy. Finally, that infectious personality got the best of me and I signed the form. She was a great student and an incredible person. I looked forward to the new drawings and messages that would be taped to my wall always claiming that ‘Kaitlyn is Mr. Kough’s favorite student’. I have to say she always made the day better. She will be greatly missed.

I love you sweet girl & will miss you forever!

  52. Kaitlyn was not one of my students, but she was a student of a neighboring teacher with whom I shared hall duty. Kaitlyn would stop by everyday to talk to her favorite middle school teacher, and I would join in the conversation, sticking up for her when he would give her a good ribbing about how many times she had broken an arm or how many times she had asked to be a TA. No matter, what we looked forward to seeing her smile everyday. Kaitlyn had a wonderful sense of humor and a smile that was contagious. She was bubbly, outgoing and full of life, and we will miss her greatly.
