  1. I just found out of Karen’s passing. I am in shock. She was such a sweet and caring person. She would usually call me on her way to work for one of her home patients. I love you Karen. She had a hard life with health issues. ߒ” May you finally get to experience being heathy and happy. ߘǰߘǰߘ‡Fly High my friend.ߘ‡

  2. Also like to recognize her partner in life and love, who she referred to as her husband, Karl S. Smith of Mooresville. Karl and Karen “Kitty” were introduced to one another in March of 2004 through a mutual friend and have remained a loving couple through until her passing. Kitty was a loving step-mother and friend to Leslie N Culbertson (Smith) of Monrovia, and the grandmother to four grandbabies, Devin (19), Brenna (18), Isaac (12) and Wyatt (11), who she loved dearly and patiently guided and loved with her whole heart. Kitty you will be missed deeply by us all and we are eternally grateful for you. You are a beautiful soul and came into our lives and excepted us all as your own so many years ago. We love you Grandma Kitty

  3. if she every called to him “husband” it was long before she kicked him out the first time…

  4. I want to offer my deepest sympathy to Karen’s family. Keep in mind the warm and precious memories you have of her so that they can provide comfort for you during this sad time. Also, pray to God for comfort. Many people have found hope and comfort from the promise made at Revelation 21:4 where it states that sickness and death will be no more. Those who have died will live again. (Acts 24:15) I hope these wonderful promises from God help you to cope with the loss of Karen.

  5. Karen, will miss you so much! Over the years we have shared many tears and twice as much laughter. You were a wonderful friend and I was blessed to have you in my life.
