Kevin Moore

Kevin Moore, 52, Mooresville, died suddenly April 17, 2013 ,in the Emergency Room at Johnson Memorial Hospital. Kevin was born October 18, 1960, in Windsor, Ontario, to the late Del and Joyce Moore.

Kevin graduated from St. Clair College in Windsor with a business degree. He relocated to Mooresville, Indiana, to marry his wife and was employed at the Saturday Evening Post and most recently at Horning Roofing as the financial controller. Kevin was a member of The Church at Mt. Gilead and was active in the Men’s Bible Study. He enjoyed all types of sports, but especially liked hockey, football, and baseball. He had also coached football at a semi-professional level in Canada.

Survivors include his wife, Robin (Uhls) Moore, to whom he was united in marriage March 24, 2001; step children, Dylan Uhls and Lynnsey Uhls; son, Joe Moore of Windsor; sister, Susan Moore of Windsor.

The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Monday, April 22, 2013, in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 2 to 5 p.m., Sunday, April 21, 2013. Rev. Dave Thurman will officiate the service and a private burial will take place in White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in, c/o of the funeral home, to help offset funeral expenses.   3. Kim & I are in Texas right now visiting Kim’s brother & sister in law. Kim was checking her email and just noticed about Kevin passing. So I don’t think we be able to be back in time for the services. We are so sorry about the loss of our dear brother Kevin. I so loved being in the men’s bible studies with Kevin both on Tuesday & Saturday mornings. Kim & I will miss seeing him in church on Sunday. He truly loved the Lord & was a man of truth.
