Larissa Mashell Cordray

35, of Mooresville, passed away on September 3, 2022. Larissa was born on June 10, 1987 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Tom Cordray and Marisa (Rader) Cordray.


Larissa was a vibrant young lady who had a zest for life and a love for people. Larissa had many, many friends and if you were her friend, you were her family. She and her mom ran booths at several flea markets including the Covered Bridge Festival. She had an eye for a good deal and knew what others would buy. She enjoyed spending time with her family, coordinating cookouts as well as family reunions at the family property in Kentucky, playing softball, going to Van Shows with her fiancé, Brayton, riding the beautiful trails of Eastern Kentucky on ATV’s and singing in the car at the top of her lungs to songs like, Bobby McGee and Sweet Child O’Mine. Her loving, vibrant spirit will be missed by all.


In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandmothers Edna Rader, Delsie Cordray; grandfathers Tolby Rader, Chester Cordray, and her aunts Shirley Rader and Ruth Rader.


She is survived by her mother and father, Marisa and Tom Cordray; brother Derek Cordray; fiancé Brayton Feuquay; her aunt, three uncles, many cousins and extended family and friends.


Friends and family will gather to celebrate Larissa’s life on Thursday, September 8th from 4-8pm at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 9th at 11am in the funeral home. Burial will follow the services in Centerton Cemetery.

  2. The first time we met Larissa was at the wedding of my son and his wife. Stephanie and Matt, hold Brayton and Larissa as dear friends. In the few days we spent at our occasion, her smiles added so much joy, Larissa was noticeably a sweet hearted women. I had never seen Brayton smile so wildly, to introduce his new girlfriend. Our hearts go out to all of the loved ones, wishing you all peace in the memories of her smile. ❤️ Matt, Joyce Holewa & family.
