  13. We had a great time in high school and Mr. Ramey was a large part of it. From basketball, which I still love to Butler U., where I attended, to RHI, where I did rehab the week after he did, to Cracker Barrel, where our paths often crossed, I enjoyed every minute of knowing him. I will miss him, but I have very good memories. May he rest in peace and the family be comforted by all the good wishes sent your way.

  14. Coach, Mr. Ramey, or Larry – whatever the name, he was an integral part of the MHS scene during my high school years. Mr. Ramey taught me to drive as my summertime Driver’s Ed. teacher. Some years later I was privileged to have Jan as my ‘room mother’ when Kevin was in my 4th grade classroom. To all his family, cherish your memories. He will be missed by many.

Coach taught us to be prepared for whatever life throws your direction; how to win with dignity; how to lose with grace. But above all, respect yourself and your fellow man. My prayers are with the Ramey family. Mike Park (Mooresville High School Class of 1967)
