Leona Henson

Leona Henson, 99, Mooresville, formerly of Lawrenceburg, died February 13, 2013, in Miller’s Merry Manor. Mrs. Henson was born November 11, 1913, in Vevay, Indiana.

She was a proud homemaker and was an active member of the Lawrenceburg American Legion Ladies’ Auxiliary for many years.

She was preceded in death by one son, Gareth Fancher.

Survivors include her daughter, Wanda McKinney (Donald, Sr.) of Indianapolis and her grandchildren, John McKinney (Gretchen) and Donald McKinney, Jr. (Katrina); 7 great grandchildren.

Calling hours will not be observed. Rev. Terry Crist will officiate a private graveside service on Wednesday, February 20, 2013, in the West Newton Cemetery.
