Lois May Duke

Lois May Duke, 80, Mooresville, died December 10, 2012, in St. Francis Hospital, Indianapolis. Mrs. Duke was born May 18, 1932, in Greene County, Indiana, to the late Paul and Goldie Luemma (Hamlin) Jamison.

She was a graduate of Worthington High School and was a proud homemaker. She had been a member of the First Christian Church in Mooresville. A good cook, Mrs. Duke also enjoyed watching cooking shows on television and trying new recipes. She will be missed by her loving family.

Mrs. Duke was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Duke, Jr.

Survivors include her sons, David P. Duke (Sherry) of Mooresville and Mark W. Duke of Lake Station; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.

The funeral service will begin at 7 p.m., Friday, December 14, 2012, in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 4 p.m. Paul Gentry will officiate the service.
