Though I have not known LuAnn for a long time, she was a fantastic person. Always with a smile, willing to help out in any situation. Enjoyed being with people. One of the few people that I have had the privilege of talking about the customs and old habits of the Quaker Church. LuAnn will be greatly missed by all.
LuAnn was a kind and great person to work with.
LuAnn was the first customer I called on when I first became a printing salesperson and she was kind enough to give me my first print job. I was privileged to work with her on many projects for several years. She had a beautiful smile and she was kind to everyone. I will always have wonderful memories of LuAnn. Carol Shugert-Carlson
My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.
It was always a joy to see her come into the Vet clinic with her animals. Everyone at Horse & Hound will miss her very much.
I met LuAnn in high school, and although I wasn’t a close friend, I remember her as fun loving classmate, loyal and kind to her friends. Later she became close friends with my sister and I got to know her better during my visits. LuAnn would light up a conversation with her laughter and stories. She was open and genuine, and when she cared about you, you felt it. My next visit will not be the same without her. My deepest sympathy to her husband Mike and her family.
A beautiful sweet soul that always brightened my afternoons while working at Carey a short time many years ago. Then once I left and continued to call on Carey, no matter how your day was going, I always looked forward to calling in and catching her on the phone to share a quick story. She could brighten your day with her voice. Peace and thoughts with the family. Luann you will be missed.
LuAnn and I worked together at Rutger’s Packaging/Queen’s Group. She was always a good friend and lots of fun to work with. I was so sorry to hear of her passing, I can hardly believe it. My deepest condolences go to her family.
I did not know LuAnn but her husband, Mike, is my second cousin. Mike, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I am so very sorry for your loss. Debbie Holland Phillips

We miss you mom. So very much. I know your presence is very strong some days, especially thru your grandson. We do all we can everyday to celebrate you. Jake doesn’t say much..(surprise), but he has his good and bad moments. I’m sure he as we all do get through because you touch our spirit in some way to give us peace. You always had the knack for it when you were here with us. Love and miss u every day. Kim…….
Wish you were here to see how beautiful Amber is, not just in her appearance but her attitude. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think of you and wish you were here to experience all of these things with her. Her awards cerimony was last week and she lost it because you had always been there for those moments. As I watch her grow I think of all of the wonderful traits you instilled in her and I know you would be proud of how she is turning out. We think of you often and know we are not alone in that. Love and Miss you terribly Stacey
I met this amazing lady 25 years ago on St. Patricks Day! We argued about the color green and became good friends, started a card club from that night on for 15 years. I will miss her dearly, she was a true blessing to many many people.
I met Luann and Mike through my sister, Julie Olleman, many years ago. I had the distinct privilege of sitting in on the card club. Luann and Mike were both hilarious and I had a wonderful time. Julie spoke of Luann often over the years and I know she will miss her dearly. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Schalk family and friends. Belinda Burke
