Margaret Ann Dilley

Margaret Ann (Gourley) Dilley, 69, Mooresville, passed away April 20, 2019. Mrs. Dilley was born May 6, 1949, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Audry C. and Reba B. (James) Gourley.

Margaret graduated from Arsenal Technical High School. A lover of flowers, she worked at various florists in Morgan County throughout the years. She was a member of Eternal Life Baptist Church. Mrs. Dilley also enjoyed fishing, gardening, traveling, and playing cards. Above all, she was strongly devoted to her family. She enjoyed having her children and grandchildren near, especially for holidays. Her desire to have fun and her care for others will be fondly remembered by her loving family.

She married the late Lonny D. Dilley on August 16, 1968, and he preceded her in death in 2014. She was also pre-deceased by a sister, Sharon Gourley.

Survivors include her sons, Lonny S. Dilley and Brian Dilley, both of Mooresville; daughter Belinda Landrum of Mooresville; brothers, A.C. (Nancy) Gourley of Indianapolis and Jim (Beth) Gourley of Beech Grove; sister, Dianne Gourley of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Matthew Dilley, Brittany Dilley, Robbie Dilley, Reba Landrum, and J.T. Dilley; great grandchildren, Madison, Blakleigh, and Elliana.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 24, 2019, 4 to 8 p.m., at the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 25, 2019, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis.
