  3. Mark helped build the FedEx Indy hub maintenance program from the start. He was a part of helping many a person become an Industrial maintenance professional. He always had a kind heart, a good joke, and a smile. He will be always be a legend at the Indy hub and he will be missed by us all.

  4. Mark and I spent a few minutes at the end of each work day talking about anything and everything. I will miss that. Mark was just an all around nice guy with a smile and good word for everyone. He will be missed greatly.

  5. Mark hired me at Maintech and was my 1st boss. He gave me opportunities that got me where I am now and will never forget that. We worked so well as a team and his professionalism was the best. He taught me a lot about working in an office environment which I had no experience in. He was a very approachable boss and will never be forgotten. Thank you Mark for all you did for us here.

  6. So saddened to hear of Mark’s passing. Prayers to all of his family. He and Dirk spent so much time together in high school and he was at our house alot and part of the family. Time passes so quickly. May Eternal Rest be his.

  7. Mark was a great friend over the years and this really hurts. We started our maintenance careers about 35 years ago at Purolator Courier. It was an absolute joy working with him in those early years and fortunately we were able to continue at the Fedex facility. Mark was extremely conscientious about his work as a mechanic and a manager. So thankful for having him as a friend. Goodbye old buddy and rest well.

  8. My deepest sympathy to Mark’s family. I enjoyed the great times shared with Mark in our high school years. He was liked by all who new him and a very level headed man who will be missed greatly! RIP

  9. My brother and Mark were very good friends. They let me ride around town with them many times. We used to cruze the south side of Indy like many did in the late 70s. Mark was a great fun loving guy . My family sends our deepest condolences.

  10. My prayers are with you and your entire family at this sad news of your brother Mark passing. I always remember he was so kind to everyone and always had time to say hello when we were in school. May God be with you always

  11. I can’t believe your gone Mark. Time passed to quickly. I did not get to say goodbye. We shared 10,000 memories. I don’t know where to start. I will always remember the 1963 Impala we all fixed up as your first car. Your father bought that car , it had a 283 with a 2 speed power glide transmission. I remember we were driving on the foggiest day Indiana ever had , it was so thick the fog was coming into the car from the hole in the floor board. You were driving with Susan and myself in the car. We could not see 10 ft. I remember we both got a job at Kroger in Bendavis and us in the 1963 Impala. I remember Karpy coming to Meet us there on his 750 2 stroke Kawasaki and riding wheelies. You and I in the hall at Plainfield high school in our blue Jean jackets trying to look cool. Riding together in Ed’s pink ford Econoline truck with Cragers and the stereo so loud you could hear it for a mile. You and I going to the 500 track in the infield standing on your dads f-150. I remember us taking your Dads brand new Black F150 through the field thinking we would clean it up later and it was so muddy we could of never cleaned it up. I remember spending so many days with you and Your brothers Craig and Jim and sisters Lori and Lisa Your father Gene and Your mother Mary. Such a beautiful family you were so blessed to be born into. I was always envious because you were so handsome and so cool. I was lucky to have you as a best friend. I am sorry Mark , I was not there later in life. I will always cherish our memories together. You were the best. Thoughtful and kind, smart and cool. The ladies were always naturally attracted to you. Your smile brightened the room and your integrity and character were that of a leader of Men. I have now lost 4 of my best friends. Mark , Ed, Terry , and my Father. I look forward to the days when we are all together again. A life lived well , is its own reward. May your family and those that love you , occasionally hear the music from above and know that all is well. ߇ڰ߇¸ Dirk
