Martha Fetsch

Martha Fetsch, 79, Mooresville, passed away February 18, 2020. Mrs. Fetsch was born April 30, 1940, in Lawrenceville, Illinois, to the late Woodrow and Margie (Conrad) Wilson. Martha married Kenneth Fetsch on October 25, 1958, in St. Edward Catholic Church in Lowell, Indiana.

She graduated from Lowell High School (IN) in 1958. Martha was a longtime resident of Schererville, Indiana, prior to living in Phoenix, Arizona for 20 years. She and Ken relocated to Mooresville in 2005. Martha was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church and the church’s Women’s Club. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society. She was an accomplished seamstress and also enjoyed quilting. Martha will be fondly remembered by her loving family for her kind and generous manner.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Evelyn Fetsch; a son, Tim Fetsch; two sisters, Becky Karlsson and Marilyn Wilson; grandson, Jeremiah Michalak.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Kenneth; daughters, Susan (Paul) Hruby and Allison Fetsch; sister, Diana Smith; brothers, Joseph “Bill” Wilson and James Wilson; grandchildren, Emily Hruby and Connor Fetsch; daughter-in-law, Mary Fetsch.

Visitation will be on Friday, February 21, 2020, 4 to 8 p.m., in the chapel at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, 39 E. High Street, Mooresville. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Saturday, February 22, 2020, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1200 N. Indiana Street, Mooresville. Cremation will follow. I miss you so much and it’s so hard but now you are few from pain and hurt and in a much beautiful place with a lot of people you have missed and loved. You are and will be forever missed and loved.

  5. Such a sweet lady I had the honor of meeting building thier home in Mooresville , I didn’t know until now but wanted to send my thoughts and prayers to all her family, she was so kind and her smile was contagious I am so very sorry for your loss she was so special !
