Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I never met Martha but she must have been a fine, upstanding lady. I have been a friend of Roger’s for over 30 years and a mother’s love always shines through her children. Rest In Peace

  2. Lela will be missed. She was our Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) mentor mom. She always had encouraging words and support for our moms.

  3. Lela was so faithful to send cards every week when my husband was dying of cancer. She was such an encouragement to both him and me.

  4. We spent many nights playing cards with Lela, Yulondia, and others…such a loving giving lady, I’ve missed her so much, but now she is with Jesus, whole and ready to play rummicub…..love you SPECIAL lady Patti

  5. Miss Lela……she was such a wonderful, beautiful, loving, Christian woman and I’m glad I was able to see her one last time not too awful long ago. I remember teaching Sunday school & VBS with her, she was such a blessing! It gives me peace knowing she is dancing with Jesus now with no pain, hurt, or sorrow! 🙂

  6. Miss Lela, She was a beautiful friend and loving Christian woman. I have such great memories of her. She could shop and out do me. We had so much fun together. She loved to play Rummikub. She will be missed! I know she is in a better place now with our Heavenly Father. She told me when she would remember me, that she wanted to go home. I love Lela and I will always cherish the memories.

  7. Paula Barrickman, I still have my memories of coming to your house to play, Herman and my dad working together. I’m sorry for your loss, but we know she’s in a much better place. Prayers for your family as you face the coming days and weeks.

  8. Lela was a true life joy and sweetheart of a lady! I don’t ever recall seeing her without that smile and feeling that made you feel valued to her. I recall our many conversations about our town of New Castle, JC Penney where I worked as I went to college and people that we both knew. To this day, I still carry, in my Bible, a picture she gave me of the building “the Castle” that she went to high school in and me to seventh grade. I will miss her big smile and positive way, greatly. Rest, in peace, Lela. Carl Benson.

  9. Lela was a most warm and loving individual. I am thankful that i have a million memories of our friendship. Prayers for Lela’s families and friends through this difficult time
