Mary was the best friend anyone can have. She and her familly welcomed us almost 30 years ago after moving here. Gentle kind and loving tested and true. A gift from God now returned home. She shaped her family and they are in our hearts and prayers. Gail La Pan and family.
So many memories of Mary and the whole family. Our families were so close and spent a lot of time together in my younger years. My parents and Bob and Mary traveled many miles together going to antique shops and just having fun. I will always remember Mary for her laugh. She was a special lady.
We have been special friends sense our school days. Our 2 familys have had so many good times together. We’ll have you all in our prayers. oming home from Floria the 1st of June.—- love you all, Bob and Rose Smith
Even tho I never knew your mother, I want you to know that I am praying for the family in this time of sorrow. Ernie is my cousin, and my heart goes out to all of you.
I have known Mary and her family for years but have not gotten to spend quality time with her for a long time. I opened a sewing shop in one of their buildings years ago and became aquainted with all the Allens. I considered them all good friends. I really enjoyed Mary and all our talks—and Taryn. They all watched my kids grow up. Mary will be missed greatly. My sympathies to the whole family. Jean Uhls
Although I only had a brief encounter with Mary and her daughter Jan, I was deeply touched by her spunky personality. I came down to see her on the day of her passing and was sad to hear she left us. In just a few minutes she touched my life. Megan (The rapid response nurse).
I have been a friend of Mary’s granddaughter, Cari, since I was in elementary school and feel blessed to have known Mamaw Allen almost as long. She was such a sweet person and always made me feel special, like she was my mamaw too! I will never forget all the dinners she cooked for us in Junior High and High School, and all the times she would come down to see Cari at IU and let me tag along for dinner at Chi-chis and Hilltop! God has received a very special lady into His gates!
I met Mary several years ago while her grandaughter Leeda and my daughter played softball together. Mary was one of their biggest fans. There was hardy ever a game that she did not attend. Mary was a very special lady to allot of people and will be missed tremendously. She always treated my two girls just like her own grandchildren. My prayers are with the family knowing that they will miss a very special person in their life. Love and prayers to all of you. Tina and Family
I am so very sorry for your loss. Please know that God will comfort and sustain you. Psalms 34:18 says that He is near to those broken at heart and saves those crushed in spirit. He truly knows the pain you feel. He assures us at John 5:28 that a time will soon come when we will welcome back to our arms those we have lost. Know that time is very near. Let God comfort your soul until that day arrives. Please keep His promises close to your heart. I offer my deepest sympathies to your entire family.
