Mary E. Ganz
88, of Indianapolis, passed away on February 5, 2021 at St Francis Hospital in Mooresville. Mary was born on November 27, 1933 in Bedford, Indiana to the late Chester Straingfellow and Hilda (Embree) Straingfellow.
Mary worked as an account representative for Eli Lilly and Company for 30 years. She married Jerry Ganz on November 2, 1973 and were married over 48 years. Mary enjoyed quilting and attending Good Shepherd Baptist Church. She will be remembered as a joy to be around, sociable and was a good listener. She will be dearly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Diane Sarbor and a granddaughter Jeannette Lisby.
She is survived by her husband Jerry Ganz; sons Mark Moyer, Richard Boyer; daughters Lorry Baker, Terri Swain, Kimberly Wilson; brother Max Embree and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Friends and family will gather for a graveside service on Tuesday, Feb. 8th at 1:00pm in West Newton Cemetery.

..I was Mary’s personnel representative at Lilly in the early 80s. Prior to that I had worked on Lilly electrical projects with Mary’s husband Jerry. My wife and I were friends with Mary and Jerry…both exceptional people. She will be missed.. Gavin Hadley
