In high school, God sent a certain guardian angel to guide and watch over me…Mary Jane Copeland. She has been my rock and mentor everyday since. Unfortunately, today I’m forced to say goodbye but I can just hear him welcoming her to her new heavenly home. He will be saying ‘well done my good and faithful servant’. She loved and blessed everyone she met. Our lives are going to feel the loss forever and all we can do is strive to be like her to honor her. Good-bye Mary Jane. I love you as you taught me to love everyone. Farrell Copeland McGuire:)
mary jane will be greatly missed. she was such fun to have in our carpool for nearly15 years. she found humor in all kinds of situations, one i remember especially. She had a problem pronouncing odd names, and when we passed by the Eitlejorg Museum on the way to work, she struggled with the name, so she dubbed it ‘The Elton John Museum’ and that’s what it was, in our little group, from then on! She also had a problem with the vehicle called Mitsabishe, but I won’t repeat how that came out! She was a joy to know!
My condolence to all the Copeland Family. Mary Jane always had a smile and a kind word, always so cheerful and you felt uplifted just being in her presence. I will miss her, and I’m thankful I was blessed to know her. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers in the days and weeks ahead as you deal with the void left in your lives. Mary Jane was a lovely lady. Lynn Bucker Taylor
