I have great memories of Mary Jane as I am a Former Daughter of Charity too. My first mission was in Nashville with her and later spent some time with her in Evansville as we traveled there together for retreat. I am happy she is with our Lord now but she will be missed by all of us. My condolences to you, her family. Dori Hartter
Mary Jane was a very treasured friend of mine. We entered the Daughters of Charity on the same day. I visited her through the years with her beloved neighbors and pets and flowers and vegetables. What a free loving spirit. She is enjoying the fullness of God & Creation now .

I can still hear Mary Jane’s laughter. She was a wonderful, loyal friend, always interested in everyone’s lives and activities. Everyone became her friend immediately after meeting her-she was that inclusive. Mary Jane is irreplaceable.I will miss her forever. Janet Joy

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her so very much.
Mary Jane was a wonderful lady. She instantly became part of our Assisted Living family. She was always smiling and loved to laugh. She also was very complimentary to everyone she would see, she would always tell me “that’s a beautiful blouse” I would hear her complimenting others as well, she brightened all of our days. She is greatly loved and missed by all of her Meadow Lakes Assisted Living family. She had a beautiful, loving heart, she was definitely one of a kind. All our love and prayers to her family.

So sorry Steve for you all..
MaryJane was our neighbor, our friend and a great fishing buddy. We loved her dearly and will miss her so much. She always had a kind word and a helping hand. She never knew a stranger. She had become a big part of our family and for that, we are forever grateful. Fly high, MaryJane. I know you are a guardian angel for many!
I met Mary Jane in 1988 on a 2-week bicycle trip in England. As all of the other participants were from the St. Louis area, it was the beginning of many friendships for her. Mary Jane would drive to St. Louis for many weekend bike rides, parties, & even for
a single day bike ride. Of course there were also 2 week bike trips in Europe. In 1999 I asked her if she would like to backpack the coastal path in Cornwall England. Her instant reply was “When, Where & How Much”. So in subsequent years we did about 300 miles to complete the path in Cornwall with many adventures & people encounters. In addition we still took other trips, such as 2-week hiking trips in many other European countries, cruises or bus trips to Turkey & the Canadian Rockies etc., To try & sum up many of her personality traits is nearly impossible. I can still see her with her bike & her hiking poles & a pint of beer after a long day out in the countryside just simply enjoying nature at its best. God Bless You Dear Friend.
