  3. I have lived across the street from Ms. Maxine for the last 17 years. After Mr. Grass passed away, I found myself always keep an eye on the cars going up and down her driveway and would check in on her from time to time. Yes, I was super nosey, but only because I worried and cared about her. My kids and I just adored her! I am thankful to have gotten to know her over the years. I will forever miss her smile, kind heart, all of her stories of her family, but most of all, I will miss her hugs! ❤️ My daughters loved to ride their bikes to visit Maxine. (I’m sure it had nothing with the goodies she always gave the kids when they visited) ߘ I took this picture of Ms. Maxine (and my youngest daughter) on Maxine’s birthday last year. What a terrific woman she was!!!
