  1. Fred and Maxine moved into our Indianapolis neighborhood with their two sons when I was in elementary school. I was in awe of her, I had never seen such a beautiful mother. She was always calm and kind in her interactions with her children, and all the neighborhood children. Their Easter chicks were tolerated until they started crowing, and were sent elsewhere. One favorite memory is of watching her help Freddie with his towel capes.(He was always acting out super hero stories), or getting him a new monster model to put together and paint. And my favorite memory is when Freddie named his new dog “Fred”, and the look on her face when I started to correct him about Fred’s gender… that was all cleared up for him when Fred gave birth to several puppies!

  2. Fred and Family, I am sorry for your loss. She was such a sweet , kind and giving person, she always had a smile for everyone around her, and pitched in to help when ever there was a need. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family!! God Bless Melody UAW Local 933
