Michael Lee “Mike” Sheridan, 59, of Martinsville, passed away at home on May 16, 2026. He was born in Indianapolis on June 4, 1966, to William Michael Sheridan and Sandra Kay (Nuetzman) Heil.
Mike graduated from Ben Davis High School in 1984, where he met the love of his life, Stacey (Hutton) Sheridan. The two were united in marriage in 1989 and shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and memories together.
Mike worked in telecommunications from the age of 18 and was known for his strong work ethic and dedication. Most recently, he was employed with Wired Communications. He was proud to be a member of the 150 MPH Club, embracing his love of speed and adventure. Mike was also formerly an active Freemason in Morgantown, where he was deeply involved in the community.
Mike was full of life and loved making memories with those he cared about most. Though stubborn and hard-headed at times, he was fiercely protective and loved his family with his whole heart. He enjoyed golfing with the guys in the family, often turning every round into a friendly competition with bets and laughter. Family beach vacations were among his favorite times, especially trips to Panama City Beach. He also enjoyed deer hunting and spending time outdoors.
Above all, Mike will be remembered for his larger-than-life personality, his sense of humor, and the deep love he had for his family and friends. His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his wife, Stacey Sheridan; sons, Derrik and Daniel Sheridan; mother, Sandra Heil (Duane); grandchildren, Maycee, Maylee, Maxton, Zayden, and Zayne Sheridan; sisters, Terri McPherson (Dave) and Kristi Workman (Mark); his father and mother-in-law, George and Sue Hutton; sisters-in-law, Rhonda Hatter (Mike) and Terrie Buxton (Geoff); and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, William Michael Sheridan.
