Michelle Irene Phillips

Our dear Mother, Nana, and Sister, Michelle Irene Phillips sadly passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024 at the age of 74.  Mikki, as most knew her, resided most of her life in Indianapolis.  She was the oldest child born to Earl and Norma Lollar.  She was born on June 20, 1949.  She was a 1967 graduate of Ben Davis High School.  She retired from the Division of Weights and Measures of Marion County.

Michelle was a strong willed and independent woman.  She had an adventurous and spiritual soul.  She cherished her family and friends. She was always there when we needed her; freely giving love, guidance, and support.

Michelle is survived by her daughters, Angela “Ann” (Steve) Frazer and Tamara “Tami” Phillips; grandchildren, Chase Phillips, Brandi Hyatt, Jacob Phillips, Chelsie Frison, Danielle (Krisinda) Niewedde, and Chloeann Frazer; great grandchildren, Readyn Phillips, Noah Hyatt, Autumn Hyatt, and Karter Phillips; siblings, Terry (Shelly) Lollar, Michael (Yvonne) Lollar, Karen Lytle, Pamela (Lou) West, Janice (Steve) Fink; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Michelle was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Norma Lollar; the father of her children, Allen Phillips; and sister, Vickie Bolling.

Michelle’s earthly remains have been cremated.  The family will gather for a celebration of life at a later date.  Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service and Crematory in Mooresville has been entrusted with the cremation arrangements.

  3. I really didn’t know her well other than her stopping in occasionally at the little corner store where I work in West Newton for her to get her some Hot Chocolate ❤️ Friday May 3rd when she came we talked awhile & she told me she just had her pic line put in and was starting chemo on Monday. (4th time dealing with Chemo) I teared up & she told me honey don’t cry, when God is ready there’s nothing we can do and it’s okay! She stood around talking with high spirits for a Good 45 minutes ❤️ In that time we learned that she had Graduated Ben Davis in 1967 with my Mom & that they were just 9 days difference between them ❤️ She was such a Sweetheart! Condolences to Her Family, you All are in my Prayers!
