Mildred “Midge” has been a part of my life, all my life. She was an infinite source of wisdom, caring, sharing and sweetness. She never saw strangers – they were simply friends she had not met. Heaven is even sweeter, now that she is there. I am amazed how a heart as big as hers could fit inside a body so small. I will miss you, Little Sis, but I know that you are not dead; you are just away. And one day we will be together again – forever.
Mildred was such a sweet lady. I remember talking to her when I would call Bill to schedule him for school field trips. She always had a smile and was so kind. Susan, I am so sorry for your loss.
was lit in memory of Mildred L. Moore
I first met Mildred after my mother entered The Springs as a resident at the end of July. Each time I saw her she had the sweetest smile. We chatted a bit very often, and I miss her gentle personality. I know that the staff at The Springs treated her with much kindness because I witnessed this every time I visited my mother. Even though I never met Mildred’s family, I want you all to know what an impact she made on my life.
Dennis, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. My mother passed six years ago and father passed forty-six years ago. I know this is a difficult time for you and your family. I am thinking about and praying for you.
