Mitchell Bruce Ingle

Mitchell Bruce Ingle, 63, of Mooresville, passed away November 4, 2019 at home after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. Mitchell was born November 22, 1955, in York, Alabama, to the late Reverend Frederick William and Lillie Mae (Schontag) Ingle.

Mitchell very proudly attended the Citadel in South Carolina. He graduated from IU receiving his business degree and continued his education at Ivy Tech getting his associates degree in the culinary arts. Mitchell was personally chosen to go to Paris completing a culinary internship. After completing his internship in Paris, he returned to Indiana as a Sous-Chef working around the Indianapolis area including the Colonnade Room for many years. Mitchell and his wife enjoyed traveling, especially to Disney World for the culinary experience. He also enjoyed going fishing. Mitchell was a member of the Presbyterian Church. He is going to be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Patty Ingle of Mooresville; siblings, Fred (Mark Silkwood) Ingle Jr. of Portland, Oregon, Vickie (Peter) Dykhuizen of Franklin, and Cathy (Geoff) Lisle of Carmel; father-in-law, Ed Hart of Washington; and many other beloved family members.

Visitation will be Friday, 4 to 8 p.m., November 8, 2019, at the Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory: 39 E. High Street, Mooresville, Indiana. Additional visitation will be Saturday, 10 to 11 a.m., November 9, 2019 at Goodwin – Sievers Family Funeral Home: 2020 State Street, Washington, Indiana; with funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Sugarland Memory Gardens, Washington, Indiana.
