Norma was my childhood babysitter in Sibley, Illinois. I have such fond memories of Norma and Phil, and the time I spent with them in their home. Norma loved Family Circus Cartoons, and I would read through her collect of cartoons instead of taking a nap. Some of my oldest memories include my favorite babysitter! I loved Norma like a grandma and have been a pen pal with her over the years after she moved to Indiana. What a wonderful, loving, kind, positive, and happy person Norma was. I cherish the memories I have and the time I spent with Norma. She is a part of my story and I am grateful that she was in my life. I will miss her greatly. My thoughts and prayers are with her entire family.
So sad to hear that Norma passed away. She and Phil were the kindest people. They babysat myself and my brother and sister, Mark & Karen, in Sibley. I always enjoyed getting her cards on my birthday- most recently this past October. She will be missed. Amy Rohrer
I am forever grateful to have been able to spend time with Norma. I listened to her stories of growing up and about her family who she truly loved. She was always so excited to show me her new puzzles that she was working on. She was a remarkable lady. We laughed alot during our talks and our time together. She will be truly missed.
Prayers to all, Stacey
