Together they shared a passion for hiking and hiked many trails in Indiana and the Appalachian Trail, where they hiked 1,606.5 miles together. They also had many fun years with the Quakertown Shakers Square Dance Club.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister Barbara O’Connor.

Deepest condolences to Marsha and the family. Skip was a good friend to many of us at Hoosier Hikers Council, and always came to our events with a big smile and heart to match. -Pete Banta & Cindy Leffelman
We will always treasure the memories we made with Skip and Marsha – building trails, running HHC races and attending HHC events and our hikes together on the AT and trips to the lake. We have lost a very good friend and he will be missed.
With loving memories Love Pat and John
I didn’t know Skip well. I met him through his wife, and art classes. I was immediately impressed with how sweet and genuine this man was. My love to Marsha as she adjusts to life without Skip by her side.
True love is eternal. Let these flowers – white and red – symbolize peace and love, while Skip will remain in our hearts forever.
Sending my love and light to you all.
We are so sorry for your loss. Keeping your family in our thoughts and prayers.
