Oh the memories….Our family grew up next door to Moore’s. Orval taught me how to sit a spell and relax and drink a cold one after a long day….NO ONE has a greener thumb than Orval Moore! Long chats in the kitchen….long chats on the back porch….poinsettas at Christmas….Easter Lilies on Easter….an OPEN door ALWAYS!! If the dog was lost…she was with Orval….Walking across the street to have a Popsicle with my buddy….spending time talking even if I wasn’t sure he could hear me in the hospital…Cheering my buddy on in Rehab!!!…Crying together when things were tough with the kids…My forever cherished cookbook typed up on the computer by Camille…The day he accepted Christ and we prayed that prayer….Oh the memories….like a father to me, like a grandfather to our children…Orval Moore you will not be forgotten…WE LOVE YOU!!! So thankful there is no more pain…no more weakness…You will be missed here, but Praise God I know where you are and will join you before you know it….have a cold one waiting for me….I’ll bring you a popsicle!
