Otis C. Gregory

Otis C. Gregory, 82, Mooresville, passed away June 10, 2013, at IU West Hospital, Avon. He was born on July 10, 1931, in Mooresville.

Otis worked for Link-Belt PTC as a millwright for many years. He was a very quiet and hardworking man. Otis proudly served in the United States Army. After retiring, he and his wife, Virginia, sold their home in Mooresville and enjoyed traveling the United States together in their fifth-wheel. In his younger days he enjoyed fishing with his friends.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Phyllis Gregory; step son, Michael Burton; brothers, Albert and Raymond Gregory; and one grandchild.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia (Rine) Gregory; daughters, Pam Renier of Indianapolis and Janet Romer of Mooresville; step children, Jim Barton (Judy) of Indianapolis and Anna Marie Pieczko (Tom) of Danville; sister, Doris Gregory of Mooresville; brother-in-law, George “Ed” Rine (Janis); two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., Friday, June 14, 2013, in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 2 p.m. Rev. Shawn Daniels will officiate the service. Cremation will take place at the Morgan County Crematory, Mooresville. Inurnment will follow at a later date in the White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville.
