  3. Dave and his wonderful and his wonderful wife, Linda, were our neighbors and the best friends anyone could wish for. Dave built the home we bought, along with the home next door. We had a lot of fun with Dave on our first Halloween where Dave was quite the prankster. Our sons adorned him and we always had a lot of fun with both of them when they lived next to us in Avon. We always felt safe with Dave living next door he made you feel protected. We were all so sad when they moved away to Moorseville but always kept in touch and will always stay next to Linda in this time of sorrow for all of us. We will always love and miss him dearly. 11. I first met Dave in the Spring of 1961 as a 12 year old when I was struck by a car riding my bicycle at 16th & Lynhurst. Dave responded, gave first aid, and transported me to the hospital. Through my HS years at Speedway I would see him occasionally and he was always very kind. Many years went by before we would meet again through our service together at the State HQ for the IN National Guard. I was proud to have served with him and know that he will be missed. Rest in Peace Brother in the Bade, Fellow Old Soldier and always a Sparkplug. Dennis Hammer MCSD, Retired INARNG, Retired SHS Class of ’66

  12. Linda, I knew Dave from the Guard days, He always helped me and the younger Pilots ,on doing it the right way. Glad he never took me up on playing one on one, Think he would have wiped the court with my skinny butt. Am very thankful I knew your husband , All his fellow pilots respected his skills and knowledge in , and out of the cockpit. May he rest in peace. CW4 ( retired ) Thomas D. Davidson
