Patricia Kay Rost
77, of Mooresville, passed away on March 8, 2023 at home, surrounded by her family. Patty was born on January 16, 1946 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Vernon M. Stanley and Clorine (Curtis) Stanley.
Patty was a graduate of Ben Davis High School, where she was a cheerleader. She married Richard Rost in Bloomington, Indiana in 1966. Patty enjoyed staying active with the Mooresville Welcome Wagon, playing softball and fishing. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Michael Stanley.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Richard Rost, daughter Shonda Duncan, grandchildren Andrew Romer, Richard Romer, her nephews Jason Stanley (Linsey Stone), John Stanley (Margie), great niece and nephews Amber Zook, Jonathon Stanley, Spencer Stanley, James Stanley, and Steven Stanley.
Family and friends will gather for Patty’s Life Celebration® visitation on Sunday, March 12th from 2-5pm at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory Mooresville. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 13th at 11am in the funeral home. Entombment will follow the services in Lincoln Memory Gardens, Whitestown, IN.
