Pauline B. Chaney

Pauline B. Chaney, 102, Mooresville, passed away April 24, 2020. Mrs. Chaney was born March 2, 1918, in Greene County, along with her twin sister, Claudine.

Pauline was the widow of Merle Chaney and was also preceded in death by four brothers and five sister, including Claudine.

Pauline graduated from Plainville High School in 1936. She worked for F.M.C. in San Jose, California until her retirement.

She is survived by her children, Claudia (Carl) Brandt, Donna (Steve) Peterson, Roy (Trish) Chaney; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren.

  1. Pauline was such a lovely lady. We met while I worked in activities department at Meadows Lake, We took a trip to have to have lunch with her twin sister one time in Washington, In.

  2. I am so sorry for the loss of this wonderful lady!! She was so active and loved being around other people. I loved visiting with her because she always had a positive attitude. I miss her Dish scrubbys she made with her daughter in law. Terri Hughes

  3. Pauline was our neighbor in Owensburg and a friend. She was truly a Christian woman. I am glad that we had a chance to get to know her. Pauline was an artist, a seamstress, avid bridge player and teacher.
