To say that Phyllis was employed by Southwest Foam Form is an understatement. She was the face, heart and soul of Foam Form for the years we were privileged to have worked with her. Her positive attitude and love of the Lord brightened all those who came through our doors. She was our treasure and will be remembered as such. Bob & Dick Porter and families
Dear Wess and David; God Bless you both for your loss. I’m sure you share the same feelings about your mother as I do as my second mom. What a I remember most is her always having the time to give back. It looks like she was no different in Moorseville than she was in Paradise Hills. For this reason, I know that she has completed and obeyed God’s will and is now in full knowledge of the true kingdom. A lot of who I am today is because of ‘Mrs. Markowitz’ With love always; Bill and Sharon Cummings My fondest memory!!! Wess and I were best of friends for all of our school age years; Elem., Junior, and High School. When I was little, Wess, Mrs. Markowitz, and I would play 500 rummy or Yahtzee during the summer months. I ALWAYS cheated, or at least attempted to. Mrs. Markowitz would certainly always catch me and threaten to tell my mom. I so miss the innocence and kindness of those days.
Mrs. Markowitz and the Markowitz family will always hold a special place in my heart. I remember as a child spending many evenings at their house or our house playing with David and Wess while our parents played games. My fondest memories of Mrs. Markowtiz are the times I would walk to her house after elementary school and bake cookies with her. She was always so kind and loving. She will be dearly missed by our entire family. So very sorry for your loss David and Wess. Lisa Hood (Berg)
David and Wess, So very sorry for your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Shall always remember Phyllis as the wonderful Christian lady she was. I was her ‘mail lady’ here at Ashbury Ridge for several years when she was unable to get out and get her mail anymore. We had many good visits during that time and afterwards. My sympathy to David and Wess. She thought the world of both of you. Norma Birkner
I’m very sorry for your loss. May the God of all comfort provide the comfort for you during this difficult time. He promises at Revelation 21:4 that ‘He will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more. Neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.’ My deepest condolences.
To my dear sister, Phyllis -We enjoyed many good times together and you will be missed greatly. We appreciate all you did for the Lord in your past years in spite of your physical condition. May you rest in peace. Jane and nephew, Kevin Koelsch.
