Phyllis Peasley

Phyllis Godsey Peasley, 79, Mooresville, died August 1, 2012. Mrs. Peasley was born January 11, 1933, in Indianapolis to the late Daniel and Felicia (Adams) Godsey.
She graduated from Arsenal Technical High School. She enjoyed working at Richhart’s Value Plus Pharmacy for a number of years. Mrs. Peasley was a member of the Mooresville Order of the Eastern Star and the VFW Auxiliary. She was also a member of Community Center Church in Plainfield.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Peasley and one son, Daniel Peasley.
Survivors include her daughters, Cynthia Spaulding (Phillip) of Mooresville and Kathleen Barrickman (Mark) of Kentucky; sons, Phillip Peasley of California, Paul Peasley of Indianapolis, and Sean Peasley (Leesa) of Indianapolis; 14 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren.
The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 4, 2012, at the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, August 3, 2012. Burial will be in the Mooresville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. I’ve known Phyllis my whole life. She was fun to be around. She would treat me just like one of hers. I will always remember all the good times I had as a kid growing up next door.
