Randall A. Rogers

Randall A. “Randy” Rogers, 76, a longtime resident of Morgan County, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2026. Born in Indianapolis on April 15, 1950, to the late Chester and Lola Mae (Black) Rogers, he was a dedicated family man, a tireless worker, and a deeply loyal friend to many in the Mooresville community.

He graduated from Mooresville High School in 1969, the very same year he married his beloved wife, Marcia Westenhofer, on July 5. After sharing decades of love and family, he was peacefully reunited in heaven with Marcia, who preceded him in death on December 30, 2023.

A remarkably hard worker and an exceptional provider, Randall spent 18 years as a typesetter for Deluxe Check Printers before taking an early retirement. Never one to sit still, he transitioned to a second career with the Mooresville Consolidated School Corporation, serving with pride as the head custodian at Mooresville High School for 25 years.

Outside of work, he was happiest spending time on his farm in southwestern Morgan County or casting a line while fishing. He had a great love for animals, thoroughly enjoyed staying in touch with his lifelong friends, and never minded the occasional trip to the casino. Above all else, Randall was fiercely proud of his family. He and Marcia were completely inseparable from their sons—wherever you saw the parents, you usually saw David and Randy too. They were, true to their core, a package deal.

In addition to his parents and his cherished wife, Marcia, Randall was preceded in death by his sister, Patty Duncan, and his brother, Jerry Rogers.

His legacy of loyalty and hard work lives on through his two devoted sons Randy Rogers and David Rogers, sister-in-law, Paulette Parsley, alongside many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. He also leaves behind a beloved bonus family, including Jillian (the late Randy) Allen, Dominique Chapman, Zackariah Allen, Mike & Janice Swan, Danny & Glenn Rutherford, Brent Armstrong, Yancy Hamblin, Gisela Perkins, and Rodney & Julie Gregory and their children, Audra Brown and Rebecca Thompson.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, located at 39 E. High St., Mooresville.  The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mannan Cemetery near Lewisville. In honor of his favorite place, the funeral procession will pass through Randall’s beloved farm en route to the cemetery.

All are invited to the Rogers’ Farm, following the burial, to continue in the celebration of Randall’s life.
