Randy Haggard

Douglas Randall “Randy” Haggard, 53, of Avon, passed away suddenly July 15, 2020. He was born September 17, 1966, Indianapolis, Indiana, to Douglas K. Haggard and Linda (Ewoldt) Haggard. He was united in marriage to Erin Ping on October 10, 2015.

Randy was a member of Traders Point Christian Church, Avon. He had recently joined Bible Study Group at the church. Randy enjoyed playing the drums, music, singing, Harley Davidson Motorcycles, working out at Plainfield Gym and Tanning, but most of all spending time with his family. He was a proud and loving father and grandfather. Randy was also very thoughtful and had the biggest heart. Randy was a fun man to be around and he would always have a new joke to tell you. Randy is greatly missed by his loving family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Linda Haggard.

Loved family members include his wife, Erin Haggard; father and mother, Douglas K. and Kathy Haggard; children, Hayley Haggard Fleece (Garrick Hill), Austin Haggard, and Shelby Haggard; step children, Mason Gray and Brodey Gray; a brother, Jeremy Haggard; sisters, Shelly (Michael) Niles, Tonna Haggard, and Malissa (Brian) Gaul; and grandchildren, Rylan, Everleigh, Remley, Annaleigh, and Knox.

Visitation for friends and family will be Thursday, July 23, 2020, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Burial will be Friday, July 24, 2020, 11 a.m. at Salem Cemetery, Zionsville, Indiana.
