Raymajean M. Lewis
81, of Mooresville, passed away on January 18, 2023 at Meadow Lakes in Mooresville. Raymajean was born on March 24, 1941 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Raymond Mobley and Inez (Hubbard) Mobley.
Raymajean worked as a phone operator for AT&T for over 30 years, before retiring in 1994. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, doing puzzles, and loved animals of all kinds. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Lewis, brothers Wendell, Jim, and a sister Lou Ann.
She is survived by her sons, Tony R. Lewis (Carol), Robert Lewis (Erika); daughter, Cynthia Alisa Ross (Bobby); brothers Roger, Bill; sisters Bobbie, Ednette; grandchildren, Aaron Ross (Kayla), Anthony Lewis, Dakota Lewis, and Marissa Lewis.
Family and friends will gather for Raymajean’s Life Celebration® visitation on Sunday, Jan. 22nd from 2pm- 5pm at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Funeral services will be at 11am Monday, Jan. 23rd in the funeral home. Burial will follow the services in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Waverly.
