Rebecca J. Brown

63, of Monrovia passed away on February 8, 2023 at St Francis Hospital in Indianapolis. Rebecca was born on January 15, 1960 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late James Houk and Mary (White) Houk.

A lifelong resident of Monrovia, Rebecca graduated from Monrovia High School. Instilled with a good work ethic, she worked as a machine operator for Nice Pak in Mooresville, rarely missing a day of work in almost 43 years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren every chance she could. She also enjoyed drinking Coca Cola and collecting all things, Coca Cola. She will be remembered for her caring, kind heart and her dedication to her family.

She is survived by her daughter Vanessa Hadley (Nicholas), brothers Tim Houk (Jennifer), Mike Houk (Denise), sister Melissa Houk as well as her grandchildren Taylor and Kaylee, who were the loves of her life.

Family and friends will gather for Rebecca’s Life Celebration® visitation on Monday, Feb. 13th from 4-8pm at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory Mooresville. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 14th at 11 am in the funeral home. Burial will follow the services in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Hall, Indiana.
