Remedios A. “Remy” Navarro
81, of Indianapolis, passed away on September 9, 2026, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Remy was born on October 23, 1944 in Pasay City, Philippines to the late Leonardo Apolinario and Felicidad (Sabino) Apolinario.

Remy worked for St. Vincent Hospital in the pharmacy for over 35 years, retiring in 2005. She enjoyed spending time going to lunch with her friends from the pharmacy and trips to Costco with Nilda in search of the best deals. Additionally, she enjoyed cooking, and spending time with her family at family gatherings. She will be remembered for her determined, tenacious personality, who was determined to achieve whatever she set her mind to.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Hazel A. Navarro; mother-in-law Luz C. Navarro; father-in-law, Casimiro P. Navarro, M.D., as well as two sisters and a brother.

She is survived by her husband, Errol C. Navarro; sons John A. Navarro, Gideon A. Navarro (Lorri), The Honorable, Abraham A. Navarro (Sheena); sister Mila Noriel; grandchildren, Sam Navarro, Gracie Navarro, Sydney Navarro, and Savanna Briles.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Remy’s life on Friday, September 18th from 4-8pm at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 19th at 11:00am in the funeral home. In keeping with her wishes, she will be cremated following the services and laid to rest next to her daughter Hazel at a later date in Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana.
