Richard Stephen Andrew, Jr.

March 13, 1971 ~ March 29, 2023
Richard Stephen Andrew, Jr., 52, Indianapolis, passed away March 29, 2023. Steve was born March 13, 1971, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Sheila (Sherrill) Andrew and Richard Stephen Andrew, Sr., who survives.
Steve grew up in Mooresville and graduated from Mooresville High School in 1989. Steve attended Florida Atlantic University and recently joked about being their first basketball recruit in the ’90s. He also attended Franklin Community College before graduating from Indiana State University, where he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. Steve loved to rabbit hunt, fish, and was an avid golfer. On golf days, he would tell all his golfing buddies to wear their best golf shirts! Steve worked as a production supervisor at PacMoore in Mooresville. Steve’s family, friends, and co-workers made Steve’s life what it was – he had a “heart of gold” and LOVED BIG. Regardless of the time or inconvenience, Steve was always there for his friends; he was the friend you could always depend on. Steve and Carey enjoyed celebrating holidays, especially with Carey’s family. Steve’s memory will be forever cherished by a loving family, friends, and co-workers.
In addition to his mother, Steve was preceded in death by his daughter, Kennedy Andrew and his brother, Barry Andrew.
Steve is survived by his father, Richard Stephen Andrew, Sr.; sister, Mary (Brian Burt) Siefert; girlfriend, Carey Stallcup; nieces and nephews, Jordyn and Braelyn Andrew, Keegan and Kaleb Siefert, Brandon and Erin Burt; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
Steve’s Life Celebration® Visitation and Memorial will be held at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, 39 E. High Street, Mooresville. Visitation will be Friday, April 7, 2023, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with services beginning at 1 p.m. Cremation will take place at the Morgan County Crematory.
