80, Beloved Mother and Grandmother passed away peacefully on October 27, 2021 after a brave battle from complications of Lewy Body Dementia.
Rita worked at the Mooresville Times Newspaper for 43 years. During this time, she acquired many dear friends. Rita loved the beach, traveling, concerts and camping. She was strongly devoted to her family making every holiday special.
Rita is survived by her children Kenneth Robinson (Tammy), Melinda Nowlin (Todd), Jeffrey Robinson (Lori), Daniel Robinson (Tracy); 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Bernard and Ellen Mudd, she was preceded in death by her husband Darrell R. Ritter.
A private family celebration of life will be held as per her request. Rita has left her family a trail of wonderful memories.

Rita was the sweetest lady. I knew her by waiting on her at Citizens Bank. She was always so nice. When Darrell was alive , they would make chocolate chip cookies and bring them into us. Such wonderful memories. Prayers to her family.
