Robert F. “Bob” Dumke
74, of Mooresville, passed away on August 16, 2022 at home. Bob was born in Benton Harbor, Michigan to the late Paul Dumke and Marilyn (Wallace) Dumke.

Bob was a Union Boilermaker for NTL International Brotherhood of Boilermakers for many years. Bob maintained high standards for himself and could be tough, firm, and demanding of others, but would lend a hand to anyone in need of help. In his spare time, he enjoyed racing stock cars around the Mid-West.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother William Dumke.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanette (Harvey) Dumke; daughters Rhonda (Joe) Jones, Angela Reed; step sons Ryan (Nikki) Bolen, Craig (Stacey) Focht; brother Paul Dumke; sisters Diane Fannin, Carol Kaeding; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Bob was our neighbor and friend and he was a great guy that always was willing to lend a helping hand if you were needing help with something and he was also a good friend to my brother Donnie and my Dad they all had racing in common he will truly be missed so sad to see one of the good guys gone way to soon.P.S.and Bob made the best Salsa( Bobs famous salsa!)

  2. Bob, buddy. It’s tough to know you’re gone. Man you taught me so much about so many things from racecar setup to welding to fabrication. We sure have some hilarious stories between us and some scary stuff too! I’ll miss you until I see you again. Keep a spot for me. I’ll use a purple candle since you got me started on purple racecars and I’m still runnin it to this day.
