Robert Joseph Woods

Robert Joseph Woods, 60, Fishers, formerly of Mooresville, passed away on December 27, 2022. He was born January 30, 1962, in Indianapolis, to the late Robert Woods and Janet (Anderson) Woods, who survives.


Bob grew up in Indianapolis and was a graduate of Roncalli High School, where he excelled as a football player. He went on to attend Ball State University and played football at the college. Football remained a passion for Bob throughout his life. A talented carpenter, Bob was the owner of Midtown Roofing, Inc. for a number of years. He was also an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, and training hunting dogs. His memory will be cherished by a loving family and many friends.


Survivors include two sons, Benjamin and Caleb Woods; his mother, Janet Woods; the mother of his two sons, Janice Woods; brothers, Tom Woods and James Woods; sisters, Rhonda Woods and Mariann Fisher.


Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, 10 a.m. – 11 a.m., at the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory. Services will begin at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
