As I sit here writing this, It still does not seem real. How could such a wonderful and caring lady be taken from a family that loves her so much? I have more childhood memories of my Aunt Rose, than I do in adulthood, but it does not change the fact that I loved her dearly. She was not only my mother’s sister, she was her best friend. When my mom found out she had blood clots last December and was in the hospital, the first person she had me call was her sister, Rose, because she talked to her daily on the phone and knew she would be worried. Few are lucky enough to have that sisterly bond that they shared. Rest In Peace Aunt Rose, I know you will look out for us all from above, and we will remember you with eternal love. Dear Jerry and family, We are so sorry for your loss of Rose. She and I often sat together at Weight Watchers. She was funny, and I appreciated her humor. Rose was a delightful person, and we will all miss her. In Sympathy, Larry and Brenda Wyatt (McDonalds)
Dear Jerry and Amy, I am sorry to hear of Rose’s passing. Please know that others are thinking of you. (I am Lyndie’s mom and I remember all the ballgames we attended together.) I hope that she finds the rest she needs and you can find peace and comfort you will need in the days to come. Sincerely, Peggy Shirar
I worked with Rose at Betty’s flower shop on the square in Martinsville, YEARS ago. I think Amy was only 8 or 9. Rose was such a caring, loving lady and she will be sadly missed. May peace and blessings touch the heart of her family. Allyson Williams
