Russell Dale Duhamell

Russell Dale Duhamell, age 90, of Mooresville passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born on September 19, 1922 in Indianapolis to the late Howard and Hazel Mead Duhamell.
Aside from his loving parents he is preceded in death by his wife of over 30 years, Katie Mundy Duhamell, his brother, James L. Duhamell and sister, Gladys Barthlomew.
Russell provided for his family by working as a truck driver for Roadway and retired in 1983 after 34 years of service. He was a member of Mars View Christian Church, a member of the Masonic Lodge 669, the Mooresville VFW. Russell volunteered for meals on wheels and worked for the Senior Center of Mooresville.
Surviving are his five daughters, Sandra Rigdan (Clyde) of Plainfield, Mari Lou Sechman of Fairland, Shirley Reagan ( Ronald) of Mooresville, Linda Merritt of Indianapolis, and Judi Roberts of Indianapolis; he is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren and his dog Rocky.
Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Tuesday at Carlisle- Branson Funeral Service and Crematory with Terry Crist officiating services. Burial will follow at West Newton Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 until 8PM on Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Morgan County Humane Society.

I knew Russell and Katie all my life. They were best friends with my mom and dad. His family was my extended family. Russ always greeted you with a smile and a joke! He will be missed by so many. RIP Russell with the love of your life forever by your side.
