Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. When growing up will always remember going to Aunt Ruth and Uncle Hanks house on Memorial Day which was also the Indy 500 Race Day. We kids would play while the adults talked and listened to the race on the radio. The last time I talked to her we talked and laughed and will always remember her smile and her shining eyes just like her picture.

  2. Those were the good ol’ days, weren’t they? All the older sibs are reunited and I’m sure there will be a picnic and or a family game waiting for us when we join them. Sorry you couldn’t be here with us, but we could feel your presence in heart and spirit. Love you, cuz. Linda

  3. Barb – Our parents are all together again now. Wished you could’ve been here with us to celebrate Mom’s life, but knew you were with us in thoughts. Love you, cuz!

  4. Oh what a wonderful, caring lady she was. I remember her always making me feel welcome whether it was just for a few hours after school or overnight with Susie. Her great family is a tribute to what a special person she was.

  5. Bev, our families are intertwined…you are stuck with us! Thanks for being there for us. Linda

  6. Thanks for being there for us. You and your family have always been an important part of the Gajderowicz family.

  7. Ruth, or ‘Ma G’ as I called her, was like another mother to me. She will always be bigger than life in my eyes as she encouraged me to do as much with my resources as possible. I can only ever hope that I made her proud. Love to all the family who have all also been great support to me through all stages of life. Whatever you need, no matter how far into the future, I am truly in debt to your family. Natalie and Mark Leavy

  8. Natalie–you know how proud your G was of you!! She loves you as we all do. Thank you again for being with us through this. Hugs, Linda

  9. Thank you, dear Nattie – for many things, now as well as in the past. Mom truly loved her ‘Sunshine Girl’!

  10. Uncle Larry, so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. Romans 6:8. Your Mom lived with Christ and now she is with Christ in Heaven. Our condolences to you and Aunt Joanie and the rest of your family. Love, Dave Pollak and family.

  11. Wow what a BEAUTIFUL picture of an amazing woman who raised amazing children full of love and compassion and kindness. A truly wonderful heritage to be a part of. All our love, Aidan and Dona

  12. G was a blessing in our life. She was kind, honest, and a joy to be around. She always made us feel like family and you all became family to us as well. She will be dearly missed. Love, Vaughn, Jenny, and Stacy

  13. Jenny–you know how much we all love and appreciate you and your family. Vaughn was a rock for us during the service. Hugs to you all, Linda

  14. Thanks, Lita. Our moms are probably playing cards with God! Hope all is well with you and yours. Love, Linda

  15. Although we really did not know Mrs. Gajderowicz, we were very fortunate to know the children. Between my husband and I, we had most of the kids in class–intelligent, happy, thoughtful, dependable–we could go on and on. The girls did baby-sitting for us and became much more than just our students; they became good friends. We were hoping to make it to the funeral home this evening, but unfortunately the weather will prevent us from doing so. Our sympathy goes out to all of you. With fondest thoughts and memories, Corrine and Don Peters

  16. Thank you so very much for your kind words. All of the ‘girls’ have fond memories of our days with The Peters. Don was my favorite teacher (and my first teacher ‘crush’) from my Junior High years (despite the ceiling occasionally falling down upon us in the old Academy Building!). And Corrine was an encouraging role model in teaching us what a strong woman should be – developed emotionally as well as in mind and body. Really appreciate your reaching out to us, Susan

  17. All of the Peters family is near and dear to my heart. Each of you have a part in who I am today. I get an annual update on you when I see Clay for my eye exam…maybe you should leave pictures with him next time! Sure do appreciate your kind thoughts and words. Many thanks, Linda

  18. she was a remarkable woman. Would have loved the opportunity to see you, but completely understand your not being able to come. Thank you so much for your kind words.

  19. Linda and family, I am so sorry for your loss…..Mothers are a hard one to lose. I didn’t know your Mom except thru you …..she had to be a very loving, beautiful soul. Her kids show that she was a wonderful Mother / Grandmother. Bless you all at this time. Patty Burchfield
