83, of Plainfield passed away peacefully on September 13, 2022 surround by her family. Sandra was born in Knox, Indiana on May 13, 1939, to the late John & Myrtle Borkman. Sandra was very strong willed while still being an incredibly caring person. She was her children’s protector and was a stay at home mom while they were growing up. She loved to travel with her husband Jerry. She especially enjoyed spending time in Dauphin Island, Alabama, Gulf Shores, Australia and New Zealand. They even traveled to the Holy Land of Israel and Egypt. Sandra grew up going to church at The Church of God in Anderson. She kept her family very close and she will be missed dearly.
Sandra is survived by her loving husband of over 51 years; Jerry Crosby, daughter; Kimberly (Gary) Lear, grandchildren; Amber (Tyler) Owens and Jacob Crosby, along with her sister; Cassie Galindo.
Sandra is preceded in death by her son; Christopher Crosby and her brother; John Borkman.
Visitation will take place on Monday, September 19, 2022 at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory from 11:00am-12:00pm with funeral services immediately following in the funeral home.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service and Crematory.
