Sharla Ann Stephens

Sharla Ann Stephens, 61, Mooresville, passed away October 22, 2021. Sharla was born January 22, 1960, to the late Berle E. and Dolores (White) Hasty.

She graduated from Emmerich Manual High School. Sharla was employed with Syneos Health Systems/Eli Lilly for many years as a Senior Clinical Operations Specialist. She was a member of the Morgan County Tea Party. A social butterfly, Sharla was often on the go. She loved to travel, try new restaurants, visit wineries, attend festivals, and loved being in the sun. Sharla will be fondly remembered for her outgoing personality. She never met a stranger – only new friends. She was good to everyone. Above all, she loved her family and was especially proud of her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Deanne Wilson; brothers Daniel Hasty and Ernie Hasty; and brother-in-law, Eli W. Stephens Jr.

Survivors include her husband, Randy Stephens; daughter, Trina (Barry Hamon) Hasty; grandsons Brian (Meghan Trimpe) Wimmenauer Jr. and Dorian (Diamond Berkowitz) Hamon; one great grandson, Brian Wimmenauer III; two sisters, Madonna Sue Hasty and Wendy Jill Hasty; sister-in-laws, Amy Stephens and Jonna Stephens; brother-in-law, Scott Stephens; and many nieces and nephews that adored her.

Private services will be observed. According to Sharla’s wishes, cremation will take place at the Morgan County Crematory.
