Sharon Ann Myers

Sharon Ann Myers, 60, Martinsville, died August 14, 2012, in the Emergency Room at St. Francis Hospital, Indianapolis. Mrs. Myers was born June 20, 1952, in Brooklyn, to the late John C. Simpson, Sr. and Gloria (Cook) Simpson.
Sharon was a 1970 graduate of Martinsville High School. She worked through the years at various Morgan County businesses, including Gray’s Cafeteria, Poe Brother’s Cafeteria, and General Shale. She enjoyed reading, game shows, bingo, and playing cards. Most of all, Sharon was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She will be missed dearly by all those who were close to her.
In addition to her mother and father, Sharon was preceded in death by her step-mother, Dorothy Faye Simpson and a brother, John C. Simpson, Jr.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Murray L. Myers; sons, Michael Myers of Martinsville and Murray Myers, Jr. (Theresa Osborne) of Minnesota; siblings, Roy Smith (Penny) of Camby, Mike Freed (Linda) of Indianapolis, Donald Freed (Cynthia) of Martinsville, Chester Christian (Nancy) of Tennessee, Rhonda Hatton of Indianapolis, Berry Simpson (Julie) of Martinsville, Melinda Dorman (John) of Cloverdale, Charles (Gina) of Wisconsin; one granddaughter, Searra Nichelle Myers; a large extended family including numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m., Saturday, August 18, 2012, at the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 12 Noon. Murray, I am so sorry to hear of Sharons Passing.. I will always remember our late night talks sitting out on the porch stoop when we lived on Homve Ave.. that has been so many years ago but seems like yesterday. You and Murray Jr. and Mike are all in my Prayers. May God be with you all and may Sharon be at Peace .
