Sharon Farese

Sharon “MiMi” Farese, 67, Mooresville, passed away March 4, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 29, 1945, in Loogootee, to the late Willis and Mary (Hembree) Hembree.
Sharon graduated from Alfordsville High School. She worked for a period of time in the deli department at Kroger in Plainfield. Sharon’s greatest joy in life was her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all of her loving family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald L. Rice; son, Timothy D. Rice; grandson, Aaron Hufferd; sister, Shirley Lineback.
Survivors include her husband, John Farese Sr. of Mooresville; daughter, Debbie Hufferd of Plainfield, grandchildren, Lindsay, Erika, and Jarrett Hufferd all of Plainfield; siblings, William D. Hembree of Loogootee; Donald E. Hembree of Loogootee, Charles O. Hembree of Plano, Texas; Alice Robbins of Shoals, Susie Hill of Jasper, Diane Mathies of Jasper, Mary M. Walton of Loogootee, Norma K. Breeding of Dubois; step-sons, John Farese Jr. of Louisville, Jerry Farese of Florida; several nieces and nephews; and her canine companion, Oscar.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 9, 2013, in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, March 8, 2013. Sharon was always fun to watch when she was dancing. She could always make you smile. She will be deeply missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with John, Debbie, Lindsay, Erika, and Jarrett. With all of our love, Donna, Amanda, Kayla, Dylan Sturgeon, and Will Lucas.

SHARON WAS A COUPLE OF YEARS OLDER THAN I,,, SHE WAS ONE OF MY MAMY-MANY COUSINS….. I loved Sharon! She held me when my mom passed while I cried at work. Sharon made me laugh so often and I loved the warmth of her smile.
