Sherrie completely enjoyed working at the Brown County Inn. She was a people person and loved her customers.
Sherrie enjoyed spending time with her loved ones. She enjoyed any time she got to spend with her great nieces and nephews. After my daughter was born, my son (only 1.5 years old) and I would swim and get lunch at BCI weekly as special Mommy time. Sherrie was always our server at lunch, and she immediately learned all of my son’s nuances, including his love for BCI’s homemade ketchup. Starting then, and for years to come, Sherrie would add a ramekin (or four) of ketchup to our to go boxes so that he could have a little more at home. We loved seeing her and still can’t believe that when COVID passes and we return to BCI, she won’t be there. I barely knew her yet will truly miss her.
Sherrie knew everything I wanted when I came in to the Inn. She picked my brain about real estate, and even tho I wasn’t her broker, I loved sharing with her because she was so likeable. I’ll miss her every time I go into the Inn. Great lady.
My sincere condolences, “Beave” Sent as a text message on 01/06/2021: I’ve been processing some difficult news since yesterday, My second family during my twenties has lost a beautiful soul. I regret the missed time I could have spent with her. Sherrie of Big Al and Sherrie passed yesterday morning. She will be severely missed by those who were privileged to be in her presence. She touched so many people with her slanted, humorous view of life. During a very dark time in my life, she would bring a smile to my face. She loved and nurtured me when I shared by soul with her. She taught me laughter can heal a broken heart. She offered me her family without reserve. So many cherished memories will never be forgotten! Big Al, Sherrie, Jim, Niki, and their extended family will always be a part of me. Thank you God for sending me an angel!
I was so sorry to hear about Sherrie. I knew her from going to the Brown County Inn for Brunch and we always asked to sit in her section. Truly a wonderful lady and always had great conversations with her. She always told us how much she loved her grand daughter and spending time with her and was always remembering and asking us about things she knew were going on in our lives. I haven’t seen her in such a long time but I even recently thought about her. So very sorry such a wonderful person and I know she will be truly missed. I’m sure there are a lifetime of memories and hope that is a comfort to everyone.
