Shirley A. (Marley) Fisher
Of Plainfield, Indiana passed from this life into her eternal home on Sunday on August 7, 2022 at Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Grace (Bange) Marley; husband John Fisher; son, Mark Fisher; sisters Lois Olleman and Sandra Steward.

She is survived by her brother Bob Marley of Monrovia, IN; sister and brother in law Donna and Kent McPhail of Plainfield, IN and several nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.

Shirley was active in the Monrovia Alumni Association for many years and a member of Kingsway Christian Church.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Shirley’s life on Friday, August 12th from 10am-12noon at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, with funeral services beginning at 12noon Friday in the funeral home. Entombment will follow the services in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Monrovia Alumni Association, P.O. Box 264 Monrovia, Indiana 46157.

  2. Leah and I enjoyed being Shirley’s Kensington neighbor. We were entertained by her sense of humor and wit. Her hair, makeup, and sense of style were always spot on. We’d watch her drive like a speed demon on her daily trips to Walmart Marketplace. Her house was always company-ready and she cooked daily for herself even in her later years. Shirley loved to go out, especially to Coachman. Shirley held a special place in our lives.
